Nobody taught us how to own the block.
We were taught how to survive it.
We learned how to hustle.
We learned how to work a 9-5.
We learned how to make somebody else wealthy.
We learned how to be okay with just getting by.
But nobody sat us down and explained EQUITY.
Nobody explained LEVERAGE.
Nobody explained buying land before everyone else wanted it.
Nobody explained that one investment property could change the trajectory of your family.
I’ve been a Realtor for 10 years and I’m done treating real estate like it’s just about pretty kitchens and closing day pictures. That is great, but the impact real estate can have is much bigger than that!
I want more Black people investing, BLACK MEN SPECIFICALLY.
I want more fathers owning property they can pass down.
I want more brothers buying land instead of just talking about what they’re going to do one day.
