1. Cracks in the driveway - large cracks can indicate larger problems with the soil under the home and foundation.
2. Doors and windows that close properly - be sure to open and close doors and windows when you walk through an open house. Sometimes you'll notice doors not latching properly and this can indicate foundation issues or soil settling under the house.
3. Look under the sinks to check for any signs of leaks. Warped or discolored wood and signs of moisture can indicate a possible leak.
4.Parking- When you pull up to an open house look around the neighborhood. Are there open parking spots on the street? Is there room for multiple vehicles in the driveway? Most families these days have multiple vehicles so making sure you have plenty of parking is a good thing to be on the lookout for.
