No detail was overlooked when completing a historic renovation in the Highland Park neighborhood with + . From brass door and window hardware to keeping a bit of the original wallpaper as a focal point in the living room, we made updates through the house as needed while letting the original beauty shine through.

We’re excited to share that three new homes on the 400 Block of East Granger Ave are officially complete 🏡

These homes are part of a phased redevelopment approach focused on strengthening the entire block—supporting both new construction and the neighbors who already call this place home.

Through a partnership with Neighborhood Finance Corporation - NFC and Cutler Construction Company, we’ve made meaningful progress on this block. To date, we’ve:

Completed 9 new construction homes

Partnered with 4 existing homeowners through home improvement grants to support property upgrades and long-term stability

This work reflects what’s possible when reinvestment is intentional, incremental, and rooted in community. We’re grateful to the residents, partners, and builders who’ve helped move this block forward—and we’re excited to see it continue to grow, together.

Construction is well underway on the Goldfinch building, our latest mass timber project on Ingersoll . Projected completion is November 2026. It will be a mixed use building with commercial bays on the main floor and 28 units above.

Fun fact : The Goldfinch will be America’s first carbon neutral, low income housing tax credit project and Iowa’s first passive house certified LIHTC project!
