HAPPY CLOSING DAY!
I woke up this morning to this wonderful poem from my sellerβs family and with their permission, I had to share!
Twas the night before closing and all thru the (town)house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The faucets were fixed by Ben the plumber with care, another step closer, we soon will be there;
The ceiling was painted all pretty and white, while touchups were made, all nail holes out of sight;
The pipes are not dripping, the sump pump works great, smoke alarms installed and they are so ornate;
The laundry room floor had the tiniest splatter, thank goodness the buyers said βit didnβt matterβ!
Away to the window, the inspector dashed,
repair was a must for the main bedroomβs sash;
New light switches are in, lightbulbs screwed in so tight, the carpet was cleaned, everything is all right;
When what to our wondering eyes did appear, a new fridge and stove, we all did a cheer;
With a nice old installer so lively and quick,
the dishwasher and micro were the perfect pick;
More rapid than eagles, Rick and sons they came, they took things not sold on Facebook Marketplace;
A table, a bookshelf, a mattress, a hutch, a sofa, some boxes, these guys were so clutch;
From the top of the loft, to the basement below, Mom packed all her things she was ready to go;
Williams Ct was a wonderful place thru the years, so many great memories but itβs time to switch gears;
We called the best realtor, her nameβs Jaime Blue, sheβs so smart and nice and she always comes through;
We have had quite the journey, itβs been so much fun, tomorrow the sale process will finally be done;
Weβre proud of our Mom and her bright shining light, βHappy Closing to yβall, and to yβall a goodnight!β
