🎉 750,000 BAGS LABELED! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of our amazing residents at Attivo Trail! ❤️

Once a month, our residents generously volunteer their time to support Meals from the Heartland by labeling meal bags that will help provide food to those in need.

This past Friday, our Attivo Trail residents reached an incredible milestone—750,000 bags labeled! 👏🎊

What an amazing example of the power of giving back, working together, and making a difference in our community and beyond. We are so grateful for each resident who has donated their time and helped make this incredible accomplishment possible.

Thank you, Attivo Trail residents, for your continued generosity and commitment to serving others! 💙

Wow, what a busy and exciting week at Attivo Trail! 🎉

Last week was filled with fun, music, community, and giving back! ❤️

⚾ On Wednesday, our residents enjoyed a trip to the Iowa Cubs game!

🎶 Wednesday night brought another great evening of Music in the Courtyard, filled with wonderful music and time spent together.

🩸 On Friday, we hosted a blood drive that was open to both our residents and the public. We are proud to share that together we donated an amazing **27 units of blood**! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make last week such a success. We love seeing our Attivo community come together for fun experiences while also giving back to others!

🌟 Meet Our New Community Director, Megan DuBay! 🌟

We are so excited to officially welcome Megan DuBay to the Attivo Trail family as our new Community Director! 🎉

Megan was born and raised in Le Mars, Iowa. The Ice Cream Capital of the World 🍦 and now calls Urbandale home.

Her passion for working with seniors began at a young age while visiting her aunt in a long-term care facility. In fact, some of her best friends growing up were 90+ years old! ❤️ Her love for people and building meaningful connections is what makes her such a wonderful addition to our community.

Megan is especially excited to meet our residents and continue cultivating the deep roots of community that make Attivo Trail such a special place to call home. 🌳

A few fun facts about Megan:

🐾 She has a 100-pound Bernedoodle named J.R. who she says is definitely a lap dog!

🌎 Her bucket list includes visiting all 50 states and every continent.

🏖️ Her dream destinations are Greece and the Maldives.

🎸 Fun fact: She has actually played with the Beach Boys!

🎬 Her favorite movie is Dirty Dancing.

🌶️ She loves spicy food, cooking, hiking, traveling, spending time with family, and enjoying the outdoors.

🃏 And most importantly… she is looking for someone to re-teach her how to play Pinochle!

Megan's personal motto is:

“Treat everyone you know with kindness, as you never know the battle they are facing.” ❤️

Today, our residents hopped aboard the Attivo bus and headed to the Iowa State Fair for a day filled with delicious food, great entertainment, and plenty of fun! 🎡🌽🎠

A special thank-you goes to our amazing new Community Director, Megan, for joining the adventure and spending the day making memories with our residents. We love seeing our community come together to enjoy everything Iowa has to offer!

🌸🥤 A Week Full of Fun at Attivo Trail Waukee! 🥤🌸

It was another great week at Attivo Trail Waukee! Our residents enjoyed some creative fun with Ingstad Farms at Attivo, making their own beautiful DIY flower bouquets. Nothing brightens a day quite like fresh flowers and good company! 💐

Then we celebrated National Root B**r Float Day on Thursday! Residents and staff gathered in the lounge to enjoy delicious root b**r floats and plenty of smiles. 🍦🥤

From flowers to floats, we love making memories and enjoying time together at Attivo Trail! ❤️

After a few weather-related reschedules, we were finally able to enjoy Music in the Courtyard this week! 🎶☀️

The cooler temperatures gave us the perfect opportunity to relax outside, enjoy great music, and spend time together with friends and neighbors. It was well worth the wait!
