What a blessed and meaningful day for Lake County! 💙🏠

I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the beautiful new PADS Lake County family shelter. The thought, care, and compassion poured into this facility are truly remarkable.

As a Realtor serving Waukegan and Lake County, I believe understanding housing means understanding the entire housing journey—including the challenges facing families who experience displacement. This facility provides a safe starting point, not a final point, toward stability and permanent housing.

Special shout-out to my sorority sister Kiearrah Lawrence, the PADS Board and staff, Mayor Sam Cunningham, the legacy of his late mother Mary Ross Cunningham, Congressman Brad Schneider, our local alderman and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Some rooms carry more than people, they carry purpose. This past Saturday at JIC Community Center, the Keys to the Deal Homebuyer Interactive Seminar was one of those moments.

Jesus Name Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Tiffany Peppers collaborated with Gwen and Scherrie of The GBS Team, Freedom Realty 🏠🔑 along with Tammy Moore and Lilly Moore of Diamond Mortgage to create a space where knowledge, opportunity, and community came together.

The energy was high, the questions were real, and the information shared was powerful. Our past clients showed up and poured back into future homeowners by sharing their experiences as buyers, sellers, investors, and repeat clients. The interaction between past clients and future homeowners was truly powerful.

We discussed interest rates, credit tips, financial resources, and the buying, selling, and investing process.

We enjoyed Lilly Moore, Noonie’s Treatz & Thingz amazing box lunches, raffles, and a morning of learning while having fun.
