Finn, Anna’s father, who practiced law in Lake County, Illinois for more than 40 years. Finn, while litigating cases in many different areas, had been at the forefront of community efforts to protect neighborhoods from blight and decay and to promote urban gardening, local food production, and sustainable development. Finn was honored to serve as Corporation Counsel for the City of Waukegan and brought into the firm his daughter, Anna, then a recent law school graduate, to assist him in representing the City. After serving as Corporation Counsel, Finn & Finn broadened its client services and began to handle a wide variety of legal issues in both Illinois and Wisconsin. Finn has retired from the active practice of law, his legacy now lives on in Anna E. Finn Vinson's continuing work as Finn & Vinson, LLC. Anna focuses in the areas of real estate, tax deeds, and estate planning.
