🏡✨ Congratulations to Hunter and Jennifer on their new home! ✨🏡

We searched all spring, faced a few tough losses, and stayed patient until the right one came along. When this renovated bungalow popped up with its updated kitchen, gorgeous original woodwork, and spacious bedrooms, it was clear it could be the one.

Sometimes photos don’t do a home justice, and this was one of those times. In person, it showed even better, and we knew it was meant to be theirs.

And the best part? Once under contract, we were able to lock in an interest rate a half point lower than what we’d been seeing in the spring, saving them hundreds every month. Remember that cousin from yesterday? 🥰 Well now I get to tell you their new home story!

We toured some very interesting homes—think bold wallpaper choices and all kinds of flooring—but none felt quite right. Then this beauty popped up 💫

It had everything they were hoping for:
🌳 A big backyard (hello, swingset dreams!)
🛏️ Four bedrooms
🏡 A basement full of potential

Of course, they weren’t the only ones who noticed—five other offers came in! But we stayed focused, wrote a strong offer, and after a little back and forth, the sellers of 38 years chose us. 🙌

We’ll call this one… the Cousin Connection! 👯‍♀️🏡

Five years ago, my first cousin once removed ( yes, I had to double-check that with ChatGPT that is the correct term😂) and her husband bought this home with the plan to stay “maybe five years.” Fast-forward: five years, two adorable daughters, and one very full house later... it was time for more space!

We found them their next dream home (more on that tomorrow 👀), but in the meantime, the big question was: how do you sell your current home without the chaos of showings and open houses while wrangling toddlers?

Enter: a friend of theirs (also a realtor) who had cousin clients looking for a home just like this one. We teamed up with , connected the dots, and BAM — the cousin connection strikes again! 💫

Grateful for my family’s trust through all of life’s big moves, and for the awesome collabs with agents like Elise. Congrats to the Brinkmans on their next chapter — and to the new buyers (ahem, more cousins) who now get to call this home ❤️

Congratulations to my sellers on the successful sale of their beautiful Brookfield home.

When they needed to make a move because of family, they immediately called me and we got to work. I gave them advice on what to do to get the house photo and showing ready and they got to work immediately. We got the marketing completed and the house listed the next week.

We held a successful and busy open house, but Mother Nature had a fun little prank she pulled on us. Right before the open house, the local fox family dropped off the hind quarters of an opossum right into the backyard....My seller had left to go out of town for showings, so I ran over to the house with my shovel and garbage bag in hand to clean it up. Little did we know that opossum remains would be our good luck charm to accept an amazing offer a few hours later 🫠 (swipe to see my reaction)

We worked out a timeline that worked for all parties to close quickly, but allow the sellers to remain in the home until they close on their new home. Don't think because you have a tricky timeframe, you can't make a double move. If you have a strong agent at your side, they will help make it happen!

Congrats again to my sellers and wishing them the best of luck in their next chapter!
