The 2026 Atlantic hurricane season has broken a 60-year record for the latest start to hurricane formation since satellite tracking began in 1966. This unprecedented quiet period is primarily driven by a very strong El Niño producing high wind shear that prevents Atlantic storms from organizing.

Big Thanks to everyone for helping us with decorating our fence. We love the painted surfboard that our renters created this summer. There were some very artistic families. We still have a couple more surfboards left to finish out this season. What to create next year??
