Attention Indiana veterans and homeowners:

A new law that took effect on July 1 may provide significant property tax relief for qualifying disabled veterans. If you are currently receiving the disabled veteran property tax deduction, I encourage you to contact your local Assessor's Office and inquire about filing the new Form 12662. Based on information I have received, veterans may need to submit the updated form to take advantage of the expanded benefits.
