One of my favorite parts of being in real estate is getting my boys involved and teaching them a little about the business along the way. 🏡

I love that they’re learning early that owning a home isn’t just about buying it, it’s about taking care of it, putting in the work, and creating value.

There’s something to be said for a little sweat equity. 💪🏼 Whether it’s cleaning, painting, hauling, yard work, or tackling those not-so-glamorous projects, the work you put in can make a BIG difference.

And honestly…there’s no better way to learn than getting your hands dirty. 😉 Proud mom moment watching these two work hard, learn a few real-life lessons along the way and help my clients in the process!

Today was a reminder that real estate is definitely not as glamorous as HGTV makes it look. 😂

Today I was climbing in and out of a dumpster while prepping a home for the market. Then I decided to move something in the yard… which apparently disturbed a family of wasps.

Cue me sprinting across the yard, waving wasp spray like a superhero, screaming while the neighbors enjoyed the free entertainment. 🐝🏃‍♀️💨

The wasps won. I got stung multiple times.

Just another day in real estate… because apparently “full-service Realtor” includes dumpster diving, pest control, and providing comedy for the neighborhood. 🤷‍♀️😂

When we first started, there was quite a bit to do before bringing this property to market. Together, we tackled updates, coordinated contractors, prepared the home for sale, and completed staging to showcase it at its best.
