Twelve years ago, a dear friend introduced me to this wonderful couple moving to our area from out of state. After looking at house after house, we found the perfect oneābeautifully maintained and exactly what they were dreaming of.
Over the years, weāve stayed close, and Iāve had the joy of keeping in touch with them on projects through our partnership with construction and roofing companies.
Then last November, they came home from vacation to find water pouring out the door. It broke their hearts, and they were ready to just sell the place, convinced it would never feel like home again; however, we convinced them to take a chance to do something special. Instead of helping them move on, we encouraged them to turn this challenge into an opportunityāto make their home everything theyād always wanted it to be and move right back in.
Six months later, itās done, and theyāre moving back in ahead of schedule, with so much excitement for the years ahead.
Real estate isnāt just about the deal - itās about building real relationships, celebrating the wins, and being there through the tough times.
