The first rock-band I ever listened to was a Mexican band called “Jaguares” still one of my favorites. But, the second rock-band I ever heard as a very cute big eared child was, none other than “Guns N Roses”. Literal mind explosion. The sound, the grittiness, the dirtiness, the coolness, instantly wanted to be like slash. (🙄 I had no talent for the guitar 😂)

My pops had a vhs tape, it might’ve been a concert or something but in it slash was shreddin I mean making love to the guitar on stage, he proceeds to drop the cigarette he was smoking straight into his black leather pants. Does he stop? Nah, like the coolest rockstar ever he fu***ng finishes (and so does the guitar 😏) I thought man there is no one cooler than a guy that wears a top hat, and can shred on stage while a lit cigarette is in his pants. Later on the first band I saw in concert was “Velvet Revolver” I confirmed that yeah slash is the coolest guitarist ever.

Anyways all that to say how ecstatic I was to see this brand new album on my “Spotify suggested” page. It’s a great mix of amazing legendary blues covers with a handful of slash added to them and it just works. Makes them cooler than they already are, which I thought was impossible to do. But of course slash did.

thanks for continuing to be part of the soundtrack to my life. Great album!

Hung out with the boy doing a bunch of man s**t. Like watching football, seeing big trucks fly and “smash everything they land on”. Oh and eating hot dogs and ice cream for lunch. 🙊

The motocross part of the show was definitely our favorite. 🤔 (bikes are in our near future for sure. 😏)
