Someone asked me my to write an article about my current thoughts about Cryptocurrency. And here it is! If you have the time to study and money to invest, do it, but understand that 43 percent of investors lose money in Cryptocurrency. Does this seem like a lot? Did you know that 95% of day traders in the US Stock Market lose money? Draw your own conclusions about the numbers. I will tell you what I do dislike about the Cryptocurrency world though. Transaction fees and gas fees! Don't ask me why they call it gas fee, just accept it. Through a transaction you will have both charges, just so you know and the fees fluctuates randomly, again just so you know. This is my complaint to the Cryptocurrency world π and normally this wouldn't bother me, except US Financial Institutions (example TD Ameritrade) are learning to compete by not charging a fee for a trade. Also, there's was a market correction in the Cryptocurrency world of some 3 trillion dollars in losses, okay PBS says that it was only a 2 trillion dollar loss, whatever.
In short, as long as you study hard, or if you know someone who studies hard either market is worth investing in. If I have to choose one to invest in at the moment I would choose the market with a recent market correction. Just seems like a great place to be right now.
For those who know me well, this article started as three pages and it has been condensed to this. This much is free, if you want the long version where I compare Bitcoin to the California Gold Rush of 1848, then Venmo me three easy payments of $49.95.
