Buying the house is only PART of the equation.

Before deciding what monthly payment you're comfortable with, remember there may also be:

๐Ÿ’ก Utilities
๐ŸŒณ HOA fees, if applicable
๐Ÿšš Moving expenses

And if you're looking at property with acreage, a pool, shop, barn, or other extrasโ€”think about what those features may cost to maintain, too.

Just because you're approved for a certain amount doesn't mean you have to spend that amount.
