Real estate doesn’t stick to a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither do I. My phone is on pretty much all the time, and if I know who you are, I’ll answer — morning, night, weekday, or weekend (unless I’m driving or with a client). The only calls I don’t pick up are the ones I suspect are spam, and those go straight to voicemail. Let’s face it, real estate agents are constant targets for fake health texts, companies selling leads, coaching programs, and marketing folks trying to convince you that you need them — the list goes on. But I always get back to the real people.

Once I know it’s you, I’m here unless I’m asleep. Many weekends you’ll find me hosting open houses, meeting clients, or prospecting, because this business doesn’t stop when the clock does. That doesn’t mean I don’t have work-life balance — it just means I take the breaks when I can. The phone isn’t ringing 24/7, but when it does, I do my best to show up when my clients need me.

Being a solo real estate agent means wearing just about every hat in the business. No two days are ever the same. One minute I’m working with buyers to help them find the right home, guiding sellers through pricing, staging, and negotiations. Sometimes I’m driving for hours to get docs signed by sellers who are not able to sign digitally. Another day, I might be making educational materials clients and the next, I’m tracking numbers and balancing the books, negotiating contracts, prospecting, creating videos, and sometimes even acting as a tour guide—though I try to avoid that one.

That’s the reality of being a solo agent—you adapt, juggle, and keep things moving forward. There isn’t a choice really. To all you solo agents out there…keep grinding away and doing your best for your buyers and sellers.
