Terry and Sherrie Norton are both originally from Carrollton, Georgia, but made Lake Wedowee their home when they decided to move in 2003. Terry Norton originally started his career as a Georgia State Trooper after he graduated from the Georgia State Trooper School in 1982. After a long and successful career, he retired from the patrol in 2003 after holding the rank of Major as Adjutant over special operations for the state of Georgia. After Terry’s retirement from the Georgia State Patrol, the Norton family made the decision to make Lake Wedowee their new home. In 2009, Terry found his passion for real estate after obtaining his real estate license. Since then, Terry has become a multimillion dollar producer in real estate sales. Sherrie Norton works with her husband to help market, stage, and sell lake homes. She also grew up in Carrollton, Georgia and graduated from The University of West Georgia in 1984 with a degree in Mass Communications. She has an extensive background in marketing and sales, which allows Sherrie to help develop strategies for marketing, home sales, and exposure. Sherrie works with clients who are selling by helping to stage their homes and loves assisting new home owners with design and décor.
