Before real estate, I spent over a decade managing major projects and estates. Budgets, timelines, a long list of details that all had to land at the same moment, or the whole thing would fall apart. I didn't know it at the time, but that was the best possible training for being a Realtor. A home sale is a project with a deadline and real money on the line, and most of what determines whether it goes well happens before anyone sees a for sale sign.
I used to live in Wellesley. These days I'm in Natick Center, raising my sons, helping at their school volunteering on the teacher appreciation committee. Living in these towns, not just working in them, changes what I notice. Which streets get loud at pickup time. What a "quick commute" actually means once you've sat in it yourself.
I'm licensed across Massachusetts, but focus mostly in Needham, Wellesley, Newton, and Natick and I work with a wide range of clients, first-time buyers, move-up families, and people buying or selling homes at the higher end of the market. What doesn't change across any of that is the approach. Go beyond the comps, understand what a neighborhood actually offers, and give people the honest version before they fall for a house.
That's usually the part that helps a client make a decision they still feel good about a year later.
If you're thinking about a move in this area, I'm always glad to talk through what a town is actually like, including a complimentary market analysis if you're just starting to explore what your home is worth.
