If you’re like me and are a sucker for all the floof, you can shop small today AND give to an amimal at the shelter.

You can choose a floof to shop for (doggo or catto) or they’ll do it for you. I chose Finnick, who I wish could come home with me. (It’s also clear the shelter at Wenatchee Valley Humane Society today so if you’ve been thinking, here’s your sign).

They gave me his little tree ornament as a keepsake and he’s on the tree now like the angel he is. Also, someone go get Hiccup, pictured here because available today and named awesomely.

And these good doggos got new stinky bones today too, because why not? The farts are worth their distraction while I do things today.

Love rocks? Move to Central WA!

Granite peaks, Missoula Floods boulder fields, rivers, record breaking pumice formations, basalt for dayyyyyssss: yeah, we have em and more. 🪨

I’m ashamed to admit yesterday was my first trip to Gingko Petrified Forest, 50ish mins from Wenatchee and eras in the making. In my excitement I only took one photo. It is a pure illustration of my joy and excitement.
