Last Tuesday, the Midtown-Halbert building experienced a catastrophic flood that devastated our entire first floor — more than 16,000 square feet — after a main fire water line broke. In the Midtown side of the building, water reached nearly four feet deep.
We’re heartbroken for our tenants — Serve Wenatchee, Wenatchee Community Acupuncture, Moonstone Massage, Wildflower Hair Studio, Heirloom Creatives, Gypsy Lotus, and Woolett Wealth Advisories — who each suffered tremendous loss to their spaces, equipment, and livelihoods.
Since purchasing the Midtown-Halbert building in 2017, we’ve worked hard to restore and modernize nearly every corner of this historic property. Seeing so much of that work — and our tenants’ businesses — damaged overnight has been difficult.
As we move forward with cleanup and rebuilding, many people have asked how they can help. The best way to support right now is to show up for our tenants — follow their social media pages, donate to GoFundMe campaigns if they have one, and book services on their websites.
