🚨 BIG mortgage world news 🚨

After 8 YEARS of lenders basically begging for this… the Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act is finally happening.

Translation: the trigger lead circus might finally be coming to an end. 🎪

Here’s what usually happens…

A buyer applies for a mortgage with a lender they actually trust.

Then within minutes…

💥 Their credit pull gets sold
💥 Their phone explodes
💥 30… 50… sometimes 100+ random lenders start calling like it’s a Black Friday sale.

And the buyer is like:
“Did my lender sell my info???”

Nope.
Plot twist… it was the credit bureaus the whole time.

Your info gets passed around faster than the bread basket at Olive Garden.

Companies buy those leads and start dialing like it’s the Hunger Games.

BUT with this new law going into effect:

✔ Credit bureaus can’t just sell your data after a mortgage pull
✔ Way less spam calls
✔ WAY better experience for buyers

For those of us who actually work off referrals and relationships instead of ambushing people during dinner…

This is a huge win. 🙌

Honestly… it’s about time.

Now maybe when someone applies for a mortgage their phone won’t look like they just won the lottery.
