Some closings are business. Others become part of your family’s story. ❤️🏡

Today was one of those days.

I had the privilege of representing one of my favorite clients—my dad—as he closed on his new investment property in Acton. This purchase is especially meaningful because it will provide a home for my brother as he begins law school at New England Law | Boston, following in the footsteps of our grandfather, a retired local judge. Watching one generation invest in the next is something I’ll always be grateful to witness.

Dad, thank you for trusting me to guide you through this purchase. It means more to me than words can express.

One of my favorite parts of this transaction was learning even more about Acton’s rich history. The listing agent, John Murphy, shared the story behind the name “Dropkick Murphys.” The iconic Boston band took its name from Dr. John “Dropkick” Murphy, who operated Bellows Farm Sanitarium in Acton and became known for his innovative work helping people recover from alcoholism. It’s a reminder that every property has a story, and sometimes those stories become part of Massachusetts history.

Today wasn’t just about buying real estate—it was about family, opportunity, education, and building a legacy for the next generation.
