Itโs difficult to believe that a quarter century has passed since September 11, 2001.
Today, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who rose to an unimaginable moment, and the families whose lives were forever changed.
But I also remember what came afterward.
In the days following 9/11, our differences suddenly seemed far less important. We grieved together. We helped one another. We stood together as Americans.
Twenty-five years later, perhaps one of the most meaningful ways we can honor those we lost is to remember that part, too โ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ผ๐ป ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐.
We will never forget September 11.
Maybe we should also remember September 12.
