Before a home hits the market, sellers usually ask what they should fix first.
The answer is not always a major renovation.
If I had to choose four things that can make the biggest difference, I would start here:
1.) Price it right from day one. The first 7 to 14 days matter because buyer attention is usually strongest when the listing is new. If the price is too high, you can lose momentum before the right buyers ever take action.
2.) Declutter like you are already moving. Packed closets, crowded counters, and too many personal items make the home feel smaller and harder to imagine living in.
3.) Fix the first impression. The front door, landscaping, driveway, house numbers, and entry all shape how buyers feel before they step inside.
4.) Use professional photos. Most buyers decide online whether a home is worth seeing. Dark or amateur photos can make a good house easier to skip.
Send it to someone who needs to see this.
