Congrats to my buyers of this condo with amazing views of the Ohio River. Some closings are super exciting and there’s lots of celebration. This was quiet—my folks closed remotely and sellers closed somewhere else, and I was notified later it was all done. No matter how everything goes, at the end of the day, my folks will get to wake up to this view.

It's official! The Eagle with CityBird and Pepp & Dolores are coming to the District at Deerfield! On its website, The Business Courier made the announcement earlier today. The Eagle is known for its down-home, southern comfort food menu. Offerings include sandwiches, bar snacks like hush puppies, southern sides, and their award winning fried chicken. Pepp & Dolores is a casual Italian restaurant that pays homage to family and to the food that brings people together. The menu features homemade pastas, carefully curated wines, and a balance of cherished family recipes with fresh, vibrant flavors. These Thunderdome restaurants join 101 Craft Kitchen, PINS Mechanical, 50 West, and Jeni's Ice Cream at the impressive $150 million development. Construction begins in a month, with both businesses opening sometime in the third quarter of 2026. Together, they will employ 200 people. Welcome to Deerfield Township Pepp & Dolores and The Eagle!

Congratulations to my buyers—we aren’t officially done until Monday but they deserve all the love as they wait for keys. This was years in the making—2019? 2020? Just since we started shopping together. We’ve seen old homes, newer homes, barns that were falling apart, barns transformed, smaller lots, big lots and finally—we found something that was just right!
