Great post!! We used you for a July 4th Family reunion and it was great!! Will use again!!
Warning, A long but necessary post!!
Where do I even begin. Five years ago today, we opened our brick and mortar restaurant in downtown Middletown. Our lease was for three years,- we moved to our current location at 640 N. University Blvd and have been open here for 2 years. Five years. Did you know:
**17% of independently-owned, full-service restaurants fail during their first year of operation.
**61% of independently operated restaurants close within their first three years.
**80% of restaurants close within the first five years of operation.
We are incredibly blessed and thankful for each and every person who continues to support us. Being a small family-owned business takes its toll on us each and every day. The highs, the lows, the increase in bills, overhead, employees, snow days, and so much more. Mentally and Physically, it is impossible to describe to you. Some days you question if it's worth going on and why you even opened in the first place. Owning a restaurant is not for the faint of heart. But, as I said, we are incredibly blessed with your love and support. We've seen God move in ways that only He could move in our lives. We are proud to be from Middletown and able to contribute back to the community and organizations when we can.
We look forward to the future and can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank you for allowing us to continue to chase our wild and crazy dreams.. who knew opening a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic would lead us to where we are today!!!
