It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our founder Arlette Lyons.

Arlette Angel Lyons, 88, of West Covina, California, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026.
Arlette was born on October 28, 1937, in Marseilles, France. Her early childhood was shaped by the hardships of World War II, experiences that instilled in her a lifelong resilience, strength, and determination that would define her character.

In the early 1950s, Arlette immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island aboard the SS La Grasse. She began her new life in New York, where she met her husband, Robert Lyons. Together, they started their family before eventually settling in California, where they built a life together.

Arlette built a remarkable career in real estate. In 1980, she founded Lyons and Associates, a company built on her vision, integrity, and tireless work. While building her company, Arlette earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Cal Poly Pomona. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lyons, and her children, Kenneth Lyons, Patricia Miller, Danielle Little, and Bobby Lyons.

She will be remembered for her honesty, her strong work ethic, her directness, and her unwavering commitment to both her family and her work. Arlette had a passion for lifelong learning and growth, with interests spanning philosophy, education, and meaningful conversation. She found joy in painting, solving puzzles, playing games, and sharing great food with friends and loved ones.

An avid gardener, Arlette especially loved tending to her tomatoes and cultivating whatever was in season, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing life from the soil.
Her legacy is one of strength, integrity, and passion—a woman who lived fully, spoke plainly, and loved deeply. She leaves behind not only a successful business and a devoted family, but also the enduring example of a life lived with purpose and conviction.
Funeral and memorial service details will be shared by the family at a later date.
