One of the best things about being a realtor is that I can work from anywhere. If I have my laptop with, try and stop me! Honestly though, I am what would be considered a work-a-holic. I love this job & what it does for people but I won’t lie, there are times I need a break too.

This is not a goodbye for any amount of time by any means BUT I really am going to do my best not to work from 6-8 on weekdays so I can be present with my family. I also am going to start leaving my laptop home for family trips/occasional weekends. Of course, if something is urgent I will always figure it out!! 😊❤️

I could not be more stoked for these two - they came in guns blazing & lazer focused which I can appreciate. Oh & then on top of that, they’re 2 of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! I’m so thankful that this career puts me in front of people like them. 🥹

Y’all - I got to Icewind brewery a touch prior to when they open at 4pm & there were at least 2 other vehicles in waiting as well & if that’s not an indicator, I don’t know what is!

I’d be lying if I said that Icewind isn’t in my top 5 breweries. The bartenders are SO nice & helpful, it’s family friendly, they have food/snack options available and there’s something for everyone on the menu as far as beverages. There’s also tons of board games you can use if you have littles along.

All vibe ratings were 9/10 or higher so yes, put it on your list of visits to make!! 🍻

Last week I was able to help the Dittmer family close on a new property, one that will hold so many “firsts” and a whole lot of love. We probably only saw 6 or so homes but when we saw this one something clicked & they knew it was the one for them!

Y’all I’m so sorry I’ve been a little MIA this week. Any time outside of real estate has been spent working on our final grade, seeding, tball or last minute family photos. 😅

Anyways - a little tidbit for anyone building a home. Final grade is NOT included in the price. It’s an additional cost to you but makes sense if you just want a yard asap because it’s likely paired with either sod or hydroseed.

What happens if you don’t final grade & just throw down seed? Lumpy yards & higher chances for erosion around concrete surfaces + potential water issues (standing water or intrusion).

We obviously opted to do this on our own - we had to bring in more black dirt & rented a bobcat + conditioner to break down some of those larger clumps. Dragged it out with our mower/rake to help level out, threw down some seed, raked again and now we’re just keeping it saturated. I’ll let you know in a couple of weeks if this was a mistake. 🤣

From one home to the next! ❤️

Y’all - this couple closed & opened a new chapter all on the same day this last Friday. After a few years of looking on & off they found the right one!! They always joked with me “Courtney, we promise we will buy a house one of these days” 🤣

To be honest - it NEVER once bothered me and I just kept telling them that it really didn’t matter to me when they found a house, as long as they were happy!

Emma & Jimmy - thank you SO much for choosing me to help you with this journey. I’m stoked for you guys to have more space & that you took your time finding the right one instead of rushing into your new home. ❤️🏡
