🏡 From “This Is Out of Budget” to UNDER CONTRACT!🎉
This one is a great reminder that sometimes, getting the right home takes a little creativity, patience, and a whole lot of negotiating.
I recently helped a first-time homebuyer family looking for a very specific school district for their children. That requirement alone significantly narrowed our inventory pool.❤️ They immediately fell in love with the home, the location, and the neighborhood—but there was one BIG problem:
💰 The home was well above their original budget and pre-approved mortgage amount.
That’s where the real work began.
We went through multiple rounds of negotiations—from verbal discussions to written offers, counteroffers, and plenty of back-and-forth communication between both sides.
And eventually… we got it done. 🔑🎉
Now, we're officially UNDER CONTRACT!
Negotiating is honestly one of the most challenging—and often most important—parts of a real estate transaction. It’s not always about simply getting the lowest price. It’s about understanding what each side needs, communicating effectively, finding common ground, and knowing when and how to push a little further.
Sometimes, having a realtor in the middle to facilitate those conversations can make all the difference.
