I love a good candle, but if you’re selling your home, it might be working against you.
Many buyers see strong scents — candles, plug-ins, anything artificial — as a red flag. Their first thought isn’t “this smells great.” It’s “what are they covering up?”
Keep it clean. Keep it neutral. Save the candle for after closing.
