The cost of homeownership. Pre COVID , 1st time home buyers age was 30. Fast forward to 2025, the age is 40.

This is HUGE for several reasons… mainly the equity. Just imagine if you bought a home in 2017/2018 how much equity you would have in 2026?

Why do you want to buy a home? Is it FOMO because of social media? Do you think it’s about of being an adult ? Or do you NEED to buy a home for your family… a place to call your own?

Yes!!!! Homes are still selling in 1–3 days. So when a home doesn’t sell within the first week or you see a price reduction, it doesn’t automatically mean there’s something wrong with the property.

Sometimes the home was simply overpriced. Other times, the timing may not be right.

A price reduction isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes it’s just the seller adjusting to the market.

Inventory is still tight in some towns . But we are seeing an increase in inventory surrounding hartford.

Florida was just ranked the #2 growth state in the country by U-Haul. And the buyers are coming from the northeast.

Why? Because Tampa doesn’t just feel affordable. It is affordable compared to the rising prices and taxes in the tri-state area.
And that demand isn’t slowing down neither in FL or CT.

All of my past client who has purchased a home last year or this year all say it’s the best decision they’ve made.

And I have a few clients who regret waiting . Not because of the date BUT because of fear, the news or social media .

Eff that!!! If your goal is to buy a home then definitely create a plan . Most importantly though.. move towards the goal and make it happen.

It’ll be scary and uncomfortable because it’s something new. But that’s apart of life .. being comfortable being uncomfortable.

#1 market in the U.S. right and honestly, I don’t see things slowing down anytime soon.

I’ve personally helped investors from Fairfield County buy in Hartford County over the past year so I know firsthand .

Crazy to think… I remember when 3-families were going for around $100K per unit 😂
Those pre-COVID days were different.
