Real estate school teaches you the technical stuff — square footage formulas, contract timelines, chain of title, disclosure requirements. And you need that. It's the foundation.

But it doesn't teach you the rest.

It doesn't teach you how to sit with a first-time buyer who's scared to ask a "dumb" question. Or how to explain an offer to someone who's never written one. Or how to tell the difference between a client's fear and their logic when both sound exactly the same.

What makes a good real estate agent in Connecticut? 🏡

It's more than knowing the market or understanding contracts.

A lot of it comes down to paying attention to what a client needs in the moment — and knowing when to explain something more clearly, slow the process down, or take the lead so they don't have to carry every part of the decision themselves.

Real estate gets personal very quickly because the numbers are big and the decisions affect real life.

That's why good representation should feel steady, thoughtful, and specific to the person in front of you.

Sometimes that means negotiating harder. Sometimes it means pointing out something a client hasn't considered yet, or being willing to say that a house, offer, or timeline may not be the right fit.

The best advice isn't always the advice that keeps a deal moving.

A lot of that work never makes it into the closing photo, but it can completely change how someone feels about the experience.

That's the kind of work I want our team known for.
