This week, the median list price for Los Angeles, CA 90046 - West Hollywood is $3,345,000, with the market action index hovering around 32. This is an increase over last month's market action index of 30. Inventory has held steady at or around 95.

Home sales continue to outstrip supply, and the Market Action Index has increased for several weeks. This is a seller’s market, so watch for upward pricing pressure soon if the trend continues.

Important insurance information for those affected by the fires.

Helpful Tips for Dealing with Insurance:
1. Get your own attorney or public adjuster. Your insurance will not work to get you the most. Your representative will pay for itself even if they collect 10% of your win.

2. Contact your insurance company to start the claims process as soon as possible. They can provide funds for temporary housing and begin assessing and repairing the damage.

3. Like getting arrested, anything you say can and will be used against you. You should speak as little as possible and volunteer as little as possible to the insurance company. And let your representative handle that conversation for you.

4. Select your own remediation company.. don’t choose somebody that your insurance selected for you because they will ultimately work for the insurance company. Having your own remediation company guarantees they're representing your interests.

THE FIRST TRACKLESS TROLLEY IN AMERICA WAS IN LAUREL CANYON.
(ca. 1912)* - View showing two trackless trolleys passing each other on Laurel Canyon.


The trolley ran along Laurel Canyon's dirt road and connected Sunset Boulevard to the current Lookout Mountain Avenue base where there was a small inn. The Laurel Tavern served lunch to tourists and prospective customers of Mann's Bungalow Land properties. The ride cost 10¢. More adventurous travelers could continue up Lookout Mountain Avenue for a breathtaking view of Hollywood from the area around the current Appian Way. #*
