Anyone who knows me, knows I bleed GREEN for the Celtics… but in May of 1992 I had a blind date with a guy named Kelvin Garvanne at MSG for the Knicks vs. Bulls playoff game. He is a staunch New Yorker and a huge Knicks fan. Not a great recipe to build a relationship on, but, two years later we married and the rest of history. I took him to Larry Bird’s retirement party… he started to develop a soft spot for the Celtics ( thank you Steven Riley and Duane Johnson) and over the years I’ve been known to root for the Knicks, especially when the Celts were out of the running.

So happy for the Knicks tonight… 53 yrs. is a long drought… they deserved this win!!!! They play with pure heart.

I kept the souvenirs from the game at MSG in ‘92…and we broke them out tonight to root the Knicks on. Great run - GO KNICKS!!!
