A healing economy with an unpredictable political/economic arena, has Californians trying to get ahead of the curve. Home prices have increased by 3.3% in the last month. Homeowners are selling homes within 50 days and buyers are spending a little more to seal the deal. Americans shrugged off rising mortgage rates and bought existing homes in January at the fastest pace since 2007. That has set off bidding wars that have pushed up prices as the supply of available homes has dwindled to record lows.
