Today, all of us at Constellation mourn the loss of an extraordinary young man, Max Taylor. Max was a WARRIOR in every sense of the word.
He fought cancer for much of his life with extraordinary courage, strength and determination. He faced more adversity than anyone should ever have to endure, yet through it all, Max continued to choose optimism, kindness and an incredible will to keep going.
Anyone who knew Max knew that his warrior heart was matched by an equally generous one. He never stopped caring for others. Selfless and giving from a young age, Max made an impact far beyond his years.
A senior at Gulliver Preparatory School, he touched the lives of classmates, teachers, friends, family and so many throughout our community. He faced what was in front of him with remarkable grace while continuing to show up for the people around him.
To Alex and Shasa, we have watched the extraordinary love you gave Max and the strength with which you stood beside him. We are holding you and your family especially close.
Max’s life was far too short, but deeply meaningful.
For all of us at Constellation, Max will remain an inspiration - a reminder to face adversity with courage, live with gratitude, care deeply for others, and make the time we are given count. We will remember him, tell his story and carry the example he set with us.
We love you, Max. Once a WARRIOR, always a WARRIOR.
