🏗️ MOREHEAD DISTILLERY SECURES $23.1 MILLION INVESTMENT, PLANS 2027 OPENING

Eastern Light Distilling has announced a new $23.1 million investment in its facility under construction in Morehead, bringing the project beyond its $60 million financing goal.

The 50,000-square-foot facility is expected to begin operations in late 2027 and become one of Kentucky’s largest dedicated contract distilleries, producing wh***ey for other brands.

Founded in 2024, the company has also secured USDA-backed financing through Magnolia Bank and additional funding through Avrio CleanFund.
