Cheryle has been in the real estate industry since 1990 and is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI). Cheryle has continued to be a TOP Producer in the industry securing the prestigious designation of a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) from the National Association of Realtor (NAR) in 2010. In order to receive this award Realtor's® have to complete advanced course training and demonstrate expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 35,000 Realtor's nationwide have earned this credential. In 2000 Cheryle was asked to take on and manage a real estate office that later she would find out her real estate company at the time was going to close. Instead, Cheryle took it to become one of the TOP producing branches in the Clackamas area and ALL of the Regional Multiple Listing area with 150 Brokers. Cheryle was honored with the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) in 2011. This designation is awarded to leaders in the industry who exemplifies the highest level of professional achievement in the field of real estate business management. The CRB Group is a membership of only 7,000 elite Managing Brokers worldwide and is highly regarded within the real estate industry. In 2017 Cheryle was awarded the Masters Circle Managing Broker of the Year from the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors. Cheryle learned the importance that each broker could make in the real estate industry and therefore got very involved at many levels. Cheryle has volunteered throughout the years for the PGA. She brought this experience into the real estate industry by helping to run golf tournaments that support non-profit charities. The Oregon Association of Realtors® (OAR) asked her for her help in 2009 and continued until 2016 to lead the Committee for the annual OAR Home Foundation Golf Tournament whose proceeds benefit 501c non-profit charities throughout the entire state of Oregon. She was also the Head Committee Chair for the Board of Directors of the Home Foundation. Her dedication does not stop there. She is a local member of the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors®. In 2010 Cheryle was voted in as one of the State's Directors for the real estate industry and in 2013 was promoted to a Local State Director for PMAR for the Oregon Association of Realtors Board of Directors. The level of professionalism in Cheryle's industry is very important to her. Not only does she preach it, she practices it. She is a member of the Professional Ethics and Standards Committee, and in 2016 was Committee Chair in which she helps the industry maintain a high standard of professionalism. She is an accredited real estate educator with the State of Oregon and a Certified GRI Instructor traveling Oregon teaching to her peers. In 2015 Cheryle was recognized by the Portland Metro Association of Realtors® for her decades of volunteer work and received the Good Neighbor Award. She began concentrating on supporting ‘Remodeling for Independence Together’ (ReFIT) in the early 2000’s. ReFIT is a non-profit organization that helps people stay in their homes after being disabled. They help the elderly, veterans and others that have found themselves disabled by making halls and doorways wider, counters higher, and adding ramps so that those previously home-bound can now freely enter and exit their homes. Since selling her real estate company in 2018, Cheryle now concentrates completely on her clients, both Buyers and Sellers. She has earned a high level of distinction with her clients and amongst her peers after 33 years some are third generation clients! All of Cheryle’s awards, expertise, and networking from within the industry, are there to help her clients be successful.
