I absolutely and thoroughly loved leading this session!

I had a feeling that while virtual is a great and efficient tool to run our businesses, nothing replaces the in person gathering of people and the deeper connections that happen.

So last year I led the effort to host a monthly mastermind for our local real estate professionals where we come together to discuss one focused topic.

What we saw was professionals anywhere from a month in to 40 years in walking through the doors, and the beautiful thing is that everyone walked away with a new perspective, strategy or tool they can immediately implement.

I started getting inquiries about when the next one would be. As the chair of our Professional Development committee, I couldn’t wait to lead the next one.

This was our first one for the year and the room was completely full. We discussed systems & processes that allow us to serve our clients professionally, work collaboratively with our colleagues in the profession AND have professional boundaries so we can protect our personal time.

In about 1.5 hours we managed to get to know each and every person in the room, identify pain points, create a theme and discuss them in breakouts, share our learnings and ensure that we met our goal for the day.

We used our time very well and everyone was energized and excited to implement strategies. There was even an applause at the end confirming it was worth the group’s time to show up.

And THIS is the work that makes my heart smile.

Collaboration over competition.

Elevating our profession.

Creating meaning and connection.

Cant wait for the next one!

Exciting update!

This one hits different.

Two years.
Different life transitions.
A few pauses.
A lot of strategy shifts.

And today? They’re homeowners. 🏡

I had the honor of representing these buyers through a market that tested everyone’s patience. There were moments we regrouped. Moments we recalibrated. Moments we had to lean on faith a little heavier than usual.

They stayed focused. They stayed disciplined. They trusted the process.

We adjusted strategy. We moved with intention. And we closed DAYS before their lease expired.

This one took grit.
It took patience.
It took resilience.

But most of all, it took commitment to the long game.

I am so proud of my clients and so grateful to have walked this journey with them. Here’s to building memories, raising their family, and creating stability in a place they can truly call home.

And on a practical note… my calendar just opened up. If you’re thinking about buying/selling and want a strategy rooted in real planning, not panic, I’m ready.

As I sit here and look out the beautiful trees dripping with white, lush snow I am grateful to live in an HOA community where I dont have to shovel snow.

So I thought I’d share the pros & cons of living in such a community.
