Neighborhood Renaissance has a long history of working in partnership with residents, local government, businesses and lending institutions to reclaim troubled properties, improve lives and strengthen communities. We help low and moderate-income working families to become more economically self-sufficient by providing quality homes that are within their financial reach and have built or substantia

lly rehabilitated over 125 homes. Currently we own and manage over 80 rental homes throughout Palm Beach County and provide third party property management and real estate brokerage services. Our home buyer assistance and housing counseling programs have helped more than 85 low and moderate-income working families to become homeowners. Over the past three years efforts have invested over $17 million to strengthen communities and improve lives.

In support of the Coleman Park Juneteenth Black Joy Celebration, Neighborhood Renaissance proudly participated in this vibrant and well-attended community event alongside local vendors and community partners, including The Quantum Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Rise Coleman Park, Pathways to Prosperity, Palm Beach State College, Florida Atlantic University's Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions, and many others.

Housing Specialist Gale Jackson was on hand to share information about the resident services and community resources available through Neighborhood Renaissance and The Quantum Foundation. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about programs designed to support housing stability, financial empowerment, and neighborhood revitalization.

Neighborhood Renaissance extends its congratulations and appreciation to the RAC (Resident Advisory Committee) Rise Coleman Park event sponsors, Ontario "OJ" Johnson, Upendo Shabazz (SCI Cohort Leaders), LaCandis Reid (Girls with Scars), Inspire Life Resource Center Valda Greene, Deniece Williams, Urban League Guild of Palm Beach County VP Marva Wilks, and the many vendors, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication helped make the Juneteenth Black Joy Celebration a tremendous success. On May 13, 2026, at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County recognized this year’s Housing Heroes during its annual luncheon celebration.

We proudly congratulate our own Terri Murray, recipient of the 2026 Non-Profit Developer Award, recognizing Neighborhood Renaissance, Inc. as a qualified nonprofit 501(c)(3) and certified CHODO developer that has consistently led the way in creating and supporting workforce affordable housing. The award honors organizations with a proven track record of navigating challenging development conditions while maintaining a mission-driven focus through housing programs, educational initiatives, and innovative solutions that create lasting community impact.

During her acceptance speech, Terri shared:

“At the heart of our work is the belief that housing is more than shelter. It’s the foundation for opportunity. When families have a stable home, they can save, plan, and dream.”

We also extend our sincere thanks to Suzanne Cabrera President & CEO, the HLC Board of Directors, and the Housing Leadership Council staff for hosting such an inspiring and meaningful event.
