Sign the Petition asking the City of West Palm Beach Commission to repeal the newly approved sweeping parking rate increases. The residents and businesses were not given an opportunity to participate in the process.
These new parking rates will make the City of West Palm Beach the costliest city to park in all of South East Florida, less a few special districts in South Beach.
Despite the parking department showing an annual profit of 2.5 million dollars last year, the adopted increases include 24/7 enforced parking, flat rate weekend parking, added rates on Sunday, increased event rates, increased monthly rates, increased penalties, no resident parking or permits and a 300% increase in metered parking rates.
The City Commission adopted these new rates after giving less than 48 hours’ notice to the public.

Hurricane Dorian is strengthening and it is expected to reach Cat 4 level. The latest forecast expects it to reach Florida on Monday and Tuesday.

The Association’s plan is as follows, but could be changed with an alternate forecast.

In preparation the Association is doing the following:

Today, Friday:

Pool Furniture: Removed
Third Floor Social Room and patio : Will be closed and taped shut to minimize water intrusions.
Fourth Floor Deck: Will be closed.
Roof deck and pool area : Will be closed and prepared for the hurricane.
