Reasons Buyers Tell Me They’re Sitting on the Sidelines 👇
I hear these all the time:
1. “I’m waiting for rates to come down.”
Sounds smart.
But here’s the problem…
When rates drop, more buyers jump back in.
More buyers = more competition.
And that house you could negotiate on today?
You may be fighting 5 other offers for it later.
2. “I’m waiting for prices to crash.”
This one can get expensive.
Because waiting for the “perfect” market usually means trying to time something nobody can predict.
Meanwhile, life keeps moving.
Rent keeps getting paid.
And the right home may pass you by.
3. “I’m not financially ready yet.”
Now THIS can be a very valid reason.
If buying would wipe out your savings…
If your monthly payment would keep you up at night…
Or if you need time to improve your financial position…
Waiting can absolutely be the smart move.
The goal isn’t to buy right now.
The goal is to know the difference between waiting with a plan and waiting because of fear.
Because sometimes the opportunity you’re waiting for…
is already here.
