We’re teaming up with Viver MMA for a REALTOR® Safety Month Workshop on Saturday, September 26 from 2:00–4:00 PM.

This hands-on safety training is open to agents and clients alike. No experience needed. Just come as you are and learn practical safety skills you can use in real-life situations.

A $10 entry donation is suggested, with proceeds benefiting the Beverly Carter Foundation, named in memory of REALTOR® Beverly Carter, who was killed on the job. The foundation supports safety education for real estate professionals nationwide.

One of our own just sold his house. We spend so much time telling other people how to do this, and then all of a sudden it’s your house and your stuff and your timeline.

Even when you know exactly how selling a home works, there’s still second-guessing. The mental load of making decisions and getting the house ready, while your normal life is still happening.

So weirdly, it was a good reminder that the advice we give is really valuable.

Getting ahead of things helps. Having the right people around you helps. And when it’s your own house, you feel all of that differently.

This was one of those moments that remind you real estate is always personal, even when you do it for a living.
