Someone put a wood screw through the dead front (cover) on the electrical panel right into the sheathing of the unfused service entrance conductor. As if that isn't scary enough, they also cut the wires to the ground rods and water bond😬. So no ground rods, no metal pipe bond, and a sharp metal screw into the sheathing of a 200 amp service. Fortunately I live another day to share the importance of home inspections so you and your family can be safe!

Siding looks perfectly normal but lurking behind the painted surface is rot. Rot will hold moisture and can lead to additional structural damage and pest intrusion. Get your home inspected so you can be aware of potential problems before they become your problem.

Your Inspector should be able to do all of these things for you:

1. Deliver an entirely thorough inspection
2. Be able to accurately present and communicate problems
3. Communicate their findings in a way that the buyer knows when something is a big problem and when it isn't.
4. Ensure that what is said in person is no different than what they put in their inspection report
5. Provide you with a typed or electronic report that is legible and easy to read
6. Timely delivery of the inspection report.
