Father’s Day is June 21st and we want to share a few activities we think your dad (and our dads) will enjoy on their day!
Take Dad Golfing
Book a tee time at one of Central Iowa’s best public courses like Tournament Club of Iowa, Des Moines Municipal Golf, or Copper Creek. If you’re looking for something more family-friendly, check out the mini golf and driving range at Toad Valley Golf Course.
Catch an Iowa Cubs Game
Spend the afternoon at Iowa Cubs Baseball at Principal Park. Nothing says summer quite like baseball, hot dogs, and quality family time. The I-Cubs are also promoting Father’s Day family ticket packages.
Grab Dad a Steak from a Local Butcher
Fire up the grill with a premium cut from The Good Butcher, Maxwell Custom Beef, or B&B Grocery, Meat & Deli. A great steak and a cold drink may be exactly what Dad wants.
Spend the Day at Adventureland & Adventure Bay
Cool off at Adventureland Park and Adventure Bay Waterpark. One ticket gets you access to roller coasters, water slides, the lazy river, and Iowa’s largest wave pool.
Just Spend Time Together
Whether it’s 18 holes, 9 innings, a perfectly grilled ribeye, or a day at the water park, the best Father’s Day gift is time with the people who matter most.
Let us know if you’re planning to head to any of these places.
