IM BACK!!! 😉 (LONG POST) ‼️

Chile!!! Im always going to keep it real and when I say I needed the break from real estate social media, I mean it! Let’s be honest, the market hasn’t been the best for all parties involved. I found myself scrolling through so many different real estate pages and comparing my stuff to theirs. Being a new agent is tough but being a new agent in this market….👎🏽 🍅 To keep it all the way real, I thought about quitting all together. I mean I’m sitting here paying monthly fees and dues but getting nothing in return. That’s enough to make anyone second guess the decision to become an agent. I’m sure y’all are thinking, “she’s just in it for the money.” Yes and No. I mean of course I want to be able to make money doing this, but I want freedom more than anything. Freedom from a sometimes draining 9-5 daily job. Freedom to set my own schedule. Freedom to come and go as I please. More time with my family. And Yes Financial freedom. I know I have a long way to go before I get to that point. I just need to be patient.

Anyway, I said all that to really just say this: Don’t compare yourself to others, stay in your own lane, stay focused, and do what makes you happy. Take breaks if you need to. As long as you don’t QUIT!

Hey y’all! Just stopping by to say hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic summer!
Although we technically still have a few weeks left until the first day of fall, today is the first day of September. I’m a summer baby so I’m not looking forward to the “ber” months.

I will say September is a special month for me! Both my mother(hers is today) and son have birthdays this month ❤️ Between back to school ✏️, football season 🏈, birthdays 🎉 and other business adventures…it’s going to be a busy month!

🍂Fall will be here before you know it so enjoy these last few weeks of summer. Enjoy the heat and the sunshine. ☀️

This weekend was eventful and not the most successful.

“It be like that sometimes” 🤷🏽‍♀️

Use this as a reminder to keep going. Keep chasing those dreams. Keep working hard. Keep grinding. You’re going to have days, weeks, or even months where you ask yourself “why am I even trying” This is why! Someone is rooting for you. Someone wants to see you succeed. And you deserve it!

Real estate is full of ups and downs but I refuse to quit. I have two little people that depend on me.

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful month. I certainly did and plan to have an even better April!

The sun is shining here in Iowa today and it’s in the 70s! Tomorrow is April 1st and they say April Showers Bring May Flowers. Unless you’re in Iowa, then you could also have a snow storm. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst I guess. But most certainly appreciate those sunny days! ☀️

Get outside and enjoy the sun! Go for a walk or just sit on the porch. 🌞

March is finally here! We are slowing thawing out here in Iowa. Spring is less than 3 weeks away and I couldn’t be more excited.

I’m ready for the flowers to bloom and the sun to shine! What are you excited about for Spring?

In other news, mortgage rates are on the rise with a decline in mortgage applications. What does this mean for you? It’s scary to see such high prices but don’t fear the market. Now is still a great time to buy! There is less competition. Also, a lot of people are pleasantly surprised at what they’ll be approved for and what type of loans and grants there are.
