Sherman Hill’s “Doors to the Past” home tour is back! 🏡

If you love historic homes, architecture, and getting a peek inside some of Des Moines’ coolest houses, this is a weekend worth checking out.

Over September 26–27, you can tour more than a dozen historic Sherman Hill homes, including several that are opening their doors for the first time. It’s a great way to get inspiration for your own home, learn about restoration, and experience one of Des Moines’ most historic neighborhoods.

And a little bonus for me — my listing at 1730 Woodland Ave will be part of the tour! So if you’ve been curious about this home, it’s a great opportunity to see it in person while exploring the neighborhood.
