I’m spending some time this year highlighting the Central Iowa communities that make this area home. I’ll start with Dallas Center—the place I’ve called home for 27 years.

It’s got that small-town, big-heart feel I’ve always loved. Between the shops on Main Street, the parks, and the way neighbors actually look out for each other, it’s just a great place to live. If you want a quieter pace but still need to get to DSM quickly, Dallas Center is hard to beat.
