Born and raised in small town Iowa, Austin Bittner understands the culture and values of Iowans. He enjoys going on drives and seeing the change of landscapes as rural fields shift into sprawling suburbs. There’s something unique about an area that brings such opposing scenes together to form the communities which compose the Des Moines Metro. Austin is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying navigating various trails, or spending time kayaking Iowa’s rivers. He often includes his family and friends in these activities bonding over the simple joy that exists all around us. Austin graduated from Grand View University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in history. Following graduation, he stepped into a retail environment becoming a department manager and successfully leading a high performing team with one of Iowa’s largest employers. He also has experience in home rehabbing and enjoys the challenges that come from remodeling homes. In the winter of 2017, Austin stepped away from his retail management position to pursue Real Estate. With his degree in history, Austin has a love for the intrinsic charm of older homes and buildings and is always eager to work with buyers and sellers interested in these older beauties. He also loves working with investors looking to rehab properties, first time home buyers, and anyone looking to navigate the real estate market either as a buyer, or seller. Austin focuses primarily on providing real estate solutions to clients in and around the Des Moines Metro.
