🥳 Lucky number 🎱 – I don't typically celebrate milestones but I've realized lately that it is good to take a step back and reflect on how far I've come.

I can't believe how 8 years have flown by since I entered into the real estate world. Especially with the pandemic sandwiched inbetween!

Being an agent is just as volatile as the market itself... There are ups and downs, similar to what any other business experiences.

The fact that I've already capped at my brokerage The Real Brokerage within the first 6 months of 2026 meant that all the work I've put in over the years is finally paying off.

And I'm so appreciative 🙏🏻 A huge thank you to friends, family, and most importantly—my clients—for their trust in my services (and me!).

I'm looking forward to the next 8 years... and beyond! ♾️

p.s. the older I get, the more superstitious I'm becoming 😂 if you know you know... 8 is a lucky number for us in Chinese culture 😉

This is a 💐giving flowers to my glam squad💐 post, which is why we have to show colour shots of the fab work done by my favourite people!

My natural hair colour is usually pitch black and thus, lighten & brighten was the goal. I've been with my stylist, Karen, for 16 years now (us Sagittarians 🏹 are a loyal bunch lol) and always look to her for hair guidance.

Leading up to the day, I was trying to my best to keep my skin in check but alas, my face decided to work against me. 🫠 So I really relied on the magic of make up... and of course, Rhia's skills and talent!... to make sure I looked presentable haha. The weather was also hot and humid that day so thanks to Rhia, my hair didn't just fall flat.

💍 I typically keep my personal life off this page, but this one moment is worthy of a spotlight. 🍾

This gentleman has been with me since the beginning of my real estate journey, and supported me through thick & thin.

Working in real estate is not only challenging for the individual doing it, but it can also be difficult for your loved ones. Times when your offer has to take precedence, times when you can't spend weekends together, times when you have to drag them with you to do free labour... 🤭

Storytime: Destined Perfect Lake Views 😍 Some things are worth the wait… My client ‘A’ was searching for the right one before justifying their move, and I’m glad our patience paid off!

This stunningly renovated suite had been on the market for a long time, and we kept an eye on it as the price got reduced on every subsequent relist.

By the time A asked me about it again, they had just terminated their latest listing right before the holidays (standard procedure because no seller wants to sit stale over the winter season). So, as any buyer’s agent should, I reached out to the seller’s agent to see if they’d permit a showing despite having paused on publicly listing their home.

We went in, and A loved it (so did I!) – but we knew we were still too far apart on price expectations from the conversations I had afterwards. No matter, we knew the holidays were coming up, we can wait and see how the market fares in the new year.

January goes by… no new listing yet. February goes by… still nothing. By March, I figured we may as well reach out to the other side and see if they’re still serious about selling.

As destiny would have it – and I swear I’m not making this up – I literally reached out to them one day before they were planning on putting the property back on the market. 🤯

We did a reverse déjà vu; where we went back in to see the suite *before* anyone else could get an opportunity. My client decided to pull the trigger and we secured this sweet spot under their 2026 asking price (which was already lower than their 2025 price). Does this count as a double discount?! 😉
